[Review] : Having Fire and Ice on My Face

Hello Gorgeous, welcome! Have you read my post about the latest event, blogger gathering with youth and beauty clinic? As I promised, I'm gonna share about my experience having treated at Youth and Beauty Clinic Kemang, Jakarta.

The Clinic was located at Kemang, so it's pretty near to my house. *thank God* so I came early in the morning to meet the doctor so I can consult about my face skin condition, and what's the best treatment for me. As I came, the receptionist asked me to sit while she prepare for me. Then she asked to fill a registration form, like my biodata, and if I have any allergies. Then right after that, they bring me to dr. Gaby's room to consult about my face and the treatments I need.

As she examined me thoroughly, asked whether I have tried products from other clinics and how's my daily routine, also which part I want to fix. Few months ago, I still use some products from my personal doctor. But then I stopped because it's too much and I have so much skincares and products to be tried. I said, I want to fix the acne scar on my face. It's red all over my cheek and I have some blackheads as well. Dr. Gaby suggested to try PRP or vampire facial, but then she said the skin will be very sensitive for like one week. Since I have so much event to attend, I told her not to do it that day. After having a bit discussion, then she suggested me to try Fire and Ice treatment that day, and few weeks later go back to have PRP treatment. And so, I did just like she told me to do.

Before we start the treatment, they asked me to sign a document.

Fire and Ice treatment was designed as a mild peel containing glycolic acid and retinol. The one who took care of the treatment is Mbak Aca. First, she cleansed my face with face cleanser and then continued using facial foam. This feels different, since I'm a regular to facial treatment of the clinic near my house, but they never did this. Usually they only cleanse my face using facial milk cleanser and wipe it off with warm water.

After Cleansing, some kind of cream (or mask ?) was applied onto my face. It wasn't really uncomfortable at all, but it surely had a strange sensation on my skin. It feels warm at first, tingling, and nearly the end of it (when it's near to 10 minutes where they need to wash it off) it feels like the fire was really on my face (oke lebay) but it surely was hot. Indonesian people says "cekot cekot". Next step, for sure is cleanse my face from fire. This step is to open my pores, so that the serum which will be applied later can be absorbed well.

Next after open my pores, they do vacuum. This one is to take off the blackheads from my skin. Unlike the ones that clinics always do, they don't squeeze them from my face. They do vacuum and also with serum, which helps my skin nourished and it feels painless! I love this one.

Then the "ice" part was applied on my face. I was told this one's to calm and rejuvenate the skin. It feels like ice, cool and calming. I love this one. It made me feels comfortable even almost fell asleep. After some time (I forgot, maybe around 10 minutes more or less) then they took a portable device. It was used onto my face, with colorful lighting (?) there are some colors but the ones on my face was these two, I guess. They covered my eyes before using this so I don't really know the exact colors, only from these photos they took for me. It has a fan, made me feel more relaxed and helps my skin absorbed the serum.

This one was over in around 10 minutes I guess, and then we continue to the next step, almost finish!!

To close the treatment of the day, they applied serum (there are 2 serums : fire serum and ice serum) onto my face. It helps my face looks better, I'm sure of it! And then Mbak Aca let me see my face after treatment. My reaction was like..... WOW. SUPERWOW. My face looks super glowing. They said it will be better if I don't put make up on top of my face, so my skin will absorb the serum really well. And of course, not to exposed to sun light. I did leave it well until the following day.

It's now a week after treatment, and my skin looks amazing. People have commented how well I look even without any make up. It seems to improve each and every day. [EVENT] : Youth and Beauty Blogger Gathering

Today I'm gonna share about an event (again) collaborating with youth beauty clinic and Indonesian Female Bloggers. The event itself was held on Saturday, October 14th 2017 at Seasonal Taste, Westin Hotel Jakarta. The theme was " Secret to be Young and Beautiful ".

When I came, the table was set and there was the bloggers name on each table. Of course with information of our blog and instagram as well. Usually the event planners only prepare our name, but this time they did extra miles. Such an interesting one, right? Then we continued with having lunch at the restaurant. I took some main course, and also the best part is dessert!

After we finished lunch, Dr. Gaby and Ussy Pratama did an interview for media first. This is my first time having a blogger event with so much medias. All television channel had their reporters there, asking a lot of questions to them and very enthusiast about the event, just like me! The conversation was pretty short, because we need to start the event and the media had enough answers about their curiosity. It turned out that Ussy was one of dr. Gaby's patient. She had done fat freezing treatment, one of the YBclinic's specialty. Ussy said, it was painless, and easy. Unlike other slimming treatment, this one reduces your size step by step, of course she needs to watch her diet so it will work effectively. But then, she said, she loss a significant amount of fat in her body, thanks to dr. Gaby.

Then we continue to the session with bloggers, where we can talk about the clinic, any kind of treatments and skin problems, and some testimonials from the MC and Ussy, both are dr. Gaby's patients.

Dr. Gaby shared about how we should take care of our skin. She said there are some factors that can affect our skin condition. Like stress, lifestyle, smoking & drinking, genetic, and others. Regardless of the factors, we still need to take a good care of our skin to look good. The main thing that we should do every day is cleanse our face thoroughly. Double cleansing is a must, she said. Sometimes the makeup and skincare we use have different base, one is oily and the other is water. Same as that, our cleansing also has some type. The best thing is we use oil based cleanser and facial wash. Because oil based is good for deep cleansing (and make up base e.g primer is usually an oil-based, which cannot be cleansed by a water based). If we only use micellar water and facial foam it won't cleanse deeply. It might looks fine outside like our makeups are cleansed, but actually not. Inside the pores there are some leftovers, you girls.

I also asked about how's my skin condition with some acne scars and blackheads, she said I need to do a thorough deep cleansing each and every day, especially because I go out here and there taking gojeks and everything, made my face had a lot of dirt daily :(.

Arie shared that he was once had a super awful acne on his face, like all over his face. Then he tried the treatment here at youth and beauty clinic, he tried Hollywood peel laser, and made that a routine. Then look at him now! His skin is super moist and clean, way way better than mine. Awesome!

After that, Ussy also shared about her experience at youth and beauty clinic. She tried some treatments for herself, right after she gave birth. She did fat freezing to thin her fat (which she already shared with medias before the event). She also had ulthera - an ultrasound treatment which is a rejuvenation treatment, which can tighten your skin and make you look tapered (but she said it hurts when she did the treatment). Also PRP or we know as vampire facial, a treatment using our own blood - where our blood was processed first and then the doctor inserted the extract back into our face, so the spots will fade.

All of the treatments she tried, she said it all worked on her. Every person has different response, but this one worked really well. Her fat was reduced, she looks way way slimmer than before, and her face looks better. Ussy said that having an ideal body is not actually a goal. But for her, what's more important is feeling comfortable in her own body. Being slimmer made her more comfortable and brings more confidence. That's why she tried the treatment and watch her diet.

She also introduced her make up brand, DISSY cosmetics. They had a lot of products, but the one that was recommended was the lip cream. It has a super pretty natural color, so it's very wearable. We tried on one of our blogger's face, and it comes out super pretty! Once again, the lipstick color can be different based on the model's skin color. This one, works well on light and dark skin color.

Each event must have an end, this one too. Before closing the event, Dr. Gaby from youth and beauty clinic and ussy choose two best make up of the day, which was represented by these two. They said, the makeup looks good for daily activity and coming to afternoon event like this. Simple, and not too much to put on. Congrats, girls!

Not only the best make up, they also choose the best dress of the day. Luckily, they choose me as one of the best dress, super proud! Well, I thought all girls comes very pretty and well-dressed. This one I use, is actually an own-made by my mom. ;p and both of us of course, get a souvenir from dissy cosmetics.

Here's the swatches of both lip cream product from dissy cosmetics. The intensity is pretty good, the color popped out really well. I love the one that colored pink (since I love pink) but the ginger one was not bad too! Anyway when I tried it on my lips, the texture feels creamy, moist, and not made my lips cracking. It gets off easily when I wiped it with water and hand, so when I eat it needs to be touched up. Good for daily use, from my opinion, like going to office and other casual occasion. Even good for going to class as well! This one, goes right to my make up pouch <3.

[EVENT] : Halloween Luncheon with CChannel and Pocky

Today I'm gonna share about an event that I've attended few days ago. You must've known this month we'll celebrate halloween, right? It feels fun and exciting, can't wait to celebrate it! To answer my prayer, these two companies, cchannel and pocky together create an event, halloween luncheon. The event took place at Harlow Brasserie, Rasuna Said (the building is connected to mmc hospital). It was hard at first to find the place (I thought it was different with mmc hospital lol, my bad) but it turns out I can make it in time.

Before witness the fun of having halloween party, let's learn about halloween. Do you know why we celebrate halloween? Actually, halloween was an ancient tradition from Europe. Perhaps, you girls suspected it was from America? Then you're all wrong :p it's from Europe, they do dressed up and wear make ups like ghosts back then, to made them look like ghosts or either to scary the ghosts. It seems like, the ghosts used to disturb humans. That's what we usually do each year, dress up like ghosts. But here's the thing : cchannel and pocky wanted to celebrate it differently. They want us, which most of us are beauty enthusiast, celebrate halloween beautifully. We do dress up and make up, but not to look scary, but the other way, to look pretty. Such a good concept, right? That's why they made this halloween luncheon event, to celebrate halloween together with us in such a unique way.

Right after the program host introduced himself, then he lets us to get our lunch first. It's a buffet type, with western menu. I had soup, black pepper beef, chicken wings, and also potato wedges. I eat pretty much LOL I'm such a big eater tho ;p and there are two types of drinks : mineral water and tea, both served cold. Maybe they prepare this to bring us western feel B).

Then we continue to the event, starting with the ceos and directors from both company. Well.... this is pretty interesting. The CEO of cchannel is super handsome <3 and the one from pocky indonesia is also good looking tho. They made my day! They introduced us about the products - why we celebrate the day, how's the company working, and some other stuff. Well, as for pocky, I'm a regular of the product so I know all variants that are available in Indonesia and worldwide (wherever I go I always buy pocky lol such an addiction) but for cchannel, this is a new thing. I just figured it out as the company itself is very interesting. They provide a one-minute tutorial for some topics like beauty, cooking, and other else. Super fun, right?

I love to watch those kinds of videos, and also love to try them too. They had bunch of videos we can watch, and the company itself started from Japan and then grow bigger and bigger, spread to some other countries. Someday, I wish, I could be one of their clipper.

Up next, we learned to make a DIY witch hat, also with cchannel clipper! OMG this is super fun, trying our very own DIY. Kak Vindy is the clipper who taught us about this, we can recreate it as we want. It only need simple stuff but it turned out pretty good to be our halloween property. Every girl in the room create their own witch hat, and here's mine.

Then we learned how to style ourselves for halloween. The stylist told us that we can just use any simple concept, or whatever comes in mind. The easiest way is just stick to dark color, like black for example. Or we can try to dress up like a high schooler, witch, some other characters from horror movies. After then we had a challenge! It's a make over challenge, we choose one from each team to be the model, we dressed them up. As for my group.... you girls already know, right? YEP. I'm the one who became the model and my friends dressed me up. I thought it'll be a failure but it turns out pretty good!

Another event I wanna share today, was such a super fun experience ! You girls must have known WRP , right? WRP is a company that sells product, which is identical with diet products to lose weight. But now, they're not only selling lose weight products but also sell everyday products.

As for everyday products from WRP everyday, they have two products. They're WRP everyday milk and WRP fruit bar, which has just launched this month. Well, people nowadays aware of healthy lifestyle, and of course will choose clean eating and healthy snack rather than random snacks like cilok or something similar. WRP presents fruit bar, to solve this problem.

The Grand Launching of WRP fruit bar was held in Mini Atrium, Gandaria City Mall, South Jakarta. Actually, they had done the roadshow in some public places like train station. So the event has two session each day (Saturday and Sunday), early in the morning and in the afternoon.

I joined the second session on Sunday. The event started at around 4 pm, lots of my blogger fellows gathered around the atrium, strolling around, taking photos and trying the products. The stage and atrium was decorated in yellow color, as the main color of WRP fruit bar. They prepared a mini studio for taking photos, main stage for the main activities, and three main booths as well. The booths are : Fashion, Beauty, and Travel; and each bloggers that invited to this event represent one booth according to their blog content.

As the MC opened the session, we talked about the star of the day, WRP Fruit Bar which is newly launched this month. We tried this apricot and raisin flavored fruit bar together. This product is a multi-grain bar which has 8 vitamins and 2 minerals. Such a healthy snack in this millennials era, right? Not only offering a healthy fruitbar, WRP also knows that millennials gen loves chocolate as much as healthy snacks. So then, they combined this fruit bar and chocolate, then they made WRP fruit bar.

How's the taste? Well, it's unexpected, I can say. I love eating this kind of bar as snacks. I eat like crazy and can't stop munching, every single day. As for me, other brands has this kind of bar but they have different flavor. For this one, the taste of fruit is stronger than chocolate, so I kinda feel like I'm eating fruit, not chocolate. The taste itself is not too sweet, but not too sour. Such a perfect taste, right?
Talking about the size of WRP fruit bar, it's only 20gr which is a palm size (in my case tho) and only has 80calories! This is a perfect snack, and healthy as well. Make you feel had enough snack, in between full and hungry.

Along with trying this healthy fruit bar snack, we also tried WRP everyday milk which is served in two flavors : Chocolate and Vanilla. But I'd choose chocolate rather than vanilla, as the vanilla seemed too creamy for me.

After we tried the everyday products, we continued to games session. There are three games that represented those three booths :
1. Beauty : Ombre lips challenge in 60 secs
The host choose 3 random people and asked them to joined the challenge, super fun right?

2. Fashion : Create summer OOTD in 60 secs

Well I never thought gonna win the first place, just picked some stuff that I thought would match my blue outfit then it comes out the judges love my look :D the other contestant look pretty tho :)

3. Travel : Pack as much as you can in 60 secs

It was super fun, going out with my friends to WRP Fruit Bar Launching and eating all the time (LOL) and we won't getting fat! That's the best point : we can eat this everyday and yet still have a good shape. Thanks WRP for inventing such a great product!
