[REVIEW] : Maybelline The Loaded Bolds Lipstick

Do you love lipsticks and other lip products? Me too! Well, every girls loves lipsticks, right? We love to wear something colorful on our lips, from nude to bold shades. Nowadays cosmetic brands prepare a lot variety of lip products. Matte finish to glossy finish, and nude shade to bold shades to fulfill every girls’ needs.

Maybelline New York is one of those brands that prepares a lot of lipsticks shades and variety. A few days ago they just launched their very own bold lipstick collection, named the loaded bolds. There are 12 colors from this collection : Pitch black, wickedly white, audacious blue, fearless purple, midnight date, berry bossy, chocoholic, smoking red, dynamite red, sunny coral, raspberry rendezvous, fierce fuchsia.

I have three shades out of twelve , which I want to review them now. Okay, let’s get started!

First, I want to talk about the packaging. It comes out with no box . external packaging. The They’re a combination between metallic and plastic base product, with brand name and details printed on plastic wrapping the packaging. Well, this is quite impressive because they made the product look simple but elegant, with color of navy and silver. But here what I regret is the line name “loaded bolds” only written on plastic wrapping the product, so when we open the plastic then it’s gone, it’s just a plain colored stuff.

They provide a wide variety of colors. From pink, red, to a brand new color like blue, white, and black. They know what we need and what we want. Colorful lipsticks with unusual colors, to take us from daily events to special events. Out of those colors, I have three of them. Wickedly white, fearless purple, and raspberry rendezvous. This is my very first time having bold colored lipsticks, and it's very fun! You girls should try this too, explore those colors our from your daily colors.

Here's the swatch of those three colors I have :

They're absolutely bold ; with a very good coverage (only one swipe then you'll get the intense color). They are pretty consistent with the texture and color intensity. Out of those three I tried, they all got the same texture and intensity. The texture itself is moist, not too creamy but not too hard. For the creamy part you can see on the picture that the lipsticks kinda melted a bit when I tried to swiped it on the paper. But not too creamy, because it won't melt easily. I really love how they made the texture.

For the coverage, no need to ask about it. They got the most intense color and very good coverage. I only do one swipe to apply all over my lips, then another swipe to make sure that all my lips got the perfect coverage. Except for the wicked white, I need a little bit more swipe to make sure my lips covered. But after a few swipe, they all covered up my lips.

Unfortunately, these lipsticks are not transfer-proof (or at least that's how I feel). After applying for like 10-15 minutes on my lips I tried to kiss my hand, but then it stills transfers the lipstick color. Well, this you can just take the lipstick wherever you go or put some more lipstick so when the color transfers you still have some left on your lips. But here's the good thing, at the end of the day you'll be easily clean your lips. No residue on the lips, no worries.

[TIPS] : Be A SEO Pro in 5 Minutes

Today I'm gonna share about SEO or Search Engine Optimization. So a few weeks ago, @Beautiesquad make "Ngopi Cantik #2" session to talk about SEO. It was a whatsapp-based discussion group, each session have different topic. This time, SEO topic was brought by Mbak Shintaries from Blogger Perempuan.

SEO is a process to increase visibility of a website on search engine. Of course everyone wants their web to be visible and visited by everyone who's looking for the topic they write in their blog. The session was divided into two parts : Theory and practical. First, we're gonna talk about the theory.

What makes our blog indexed by google :

1. Blog authority

Blog authority means ownership of your blog. Google will put the priority on blog with non anonymous account and clear identity. You can fill the form here : https://aboutme.google.com where your profile and social media informations available there. Will be better if you register the domain with the same email. Blog authority sometimes interpreted as domain authority (DA). The more the DA score, the better your blog will be indexed in google.

2. Content

Of course, you blog's content must have good quality (not a copy-paste one), organic, natural, and self-made. What google love : update on routines. The more, the better. Make a blogpost everyday, if you can. Content in this case, including video and images. Because with some keywords, video and image content will pop up too. So make sure to optimize the video and images too. A blog with certain theme (ex : beauty blog, travel blog, etc) have a special place in google's heart.

3. Fast loading template

Still confused why people sell template with expensive price, even they're serious in this field of business? Yup, because templates have a very important role in SEO. The average is 60-80%. Because google needs template that can be loaded just in seconds to get the homepage. For that level of speed, you need to make less script, ornament, music, and large-sized image. So if you don't have a SEO friendly template, at least make the template as minimalist as possible. Resize the picture before you upload it, to 600px and 300kb.

4. Mobile site

For this aspect is kinda mandatory, I can say. 90% access to website, blog, and application almost everyone use mobile. So if you blog isn't mobile-friendly, just forget it.

5. Backlink

Last but not least, the thing that people seek the most to decide your position is backlink. Lot of people believe that position in search engine affected by how much backlinks you have. That's why, blog with good position in search engine have a high domain authority, which is affected by backlink.

So the point is, SEO is BACKLINK.

Okay, let's move to the second part, practical.

1. Put keywords in title

For example, the keyword is "a mascara brand name" so make an interesting title but still has "a mascara brand name" words. You can make it like this "Full day using a brand mascara name, comes out great".

2. Change permalink by default

If you use the title above, the permalink should be like this : www.yourdomain.com/full-day-using-a-mascara-brand-comes-out-great but if you want to make SEO you have to change the permalink into www.yourdomain.com/a-mascara-brand-name.

3. Number of words

Google really likes a content with lots of words. Based on research, number of words should be around 800-1000 to be indexed by google. Well, Mbak Shinta herself recommend to write with minimal words of 1000. But for beauty topic, 800 words are enough.

4. Image

Before you upload the image, remember to resize and rename it first. For example rename it into "a mascara brand name" and if there's more than one photo you can add numbers at the end of the name.

5. Internal and External link

Always add links of other writings into our blog and link to other blog as the reference. Related post and read more on our homepage are also needed because they're counted as internal link. But don't use blogroll on sidebar, because it's not good by external side. Google don't like too much external link.

[REVIEW] : Eyelash Extension First Attempt - WELL DONE

Today I'm gonna share about my very first experience trying eyelashes extension. As you all know, these days girls love having long, volume, and curl eyelashes. We used to use false eyelash for special occasions, but nowadays lots of young women do makeups nearly everyday and they want something "easy" and practical, so that they can reduce their makeup time and get ready in a really short time. Of course, so they look like princess while posting a "I woke up like this" picture.

At my office, almost all young women there use eyelash extension. Especially the frontliners (I work in a private bank) they use eyelash extension so every morning they can reduce their makeup time a lot, doesn't need eye makeup (since their eyes are beautiful already) and of course they'll reduce the makeup cost (no need to buy eye makeup lol).

There are lots of reasons why we (well, it's probably not only me, right?) wanna try eyelash extension:

1. Saving time
Since our eyelash look beautiful already, we don't need to curl our lash, use mascara or even putting false eyelashes. No need to feel stressed when we wake up late in the morning. Just simply put on lipstick and eyebrows, then we're ready! We can save time up to 20 minutes in the morning, and as well no need to do the tiring routine such as cleaning the eye makeup at night when we want to sleep right away.

2. Without eye makeup, our eyes already seen "alive"
Especially for asian girls like me (who has little eyelid and small eyes) we should put a lot of effort to make our eyes seen "alive" like wearing eyeshadows, eyeliner, and false lashes. But if we use eyelash extension, there's no need to do any of those stuff.

3. Always stands out wherever and whenever
Since we don't use any eye makeup like eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara we don't need to be afraid of our makeup will be wear off. Even when we just wake up we look stunning already. It will increase our confidence.

After acknowledged those positive effects of eyelash extension, then I decided to give it a try. Thanks to Beautiesquad and WonderfullyMade Sulam Alis, one of eyelash extension in Jakarta, they gave me an opportunity to try the eyelash services. Actually here in Wonderfully Made Jakarta, they offer pretty much services like eyebrow embroidery, eyelash extension, lash lifting, eyeliner embroidery, and lip embroidery as well as some skincare services. At first i hesitated which service I want to try between lash lifting and eyelash extension. But I guess eyelash extension is more interesting to me, so I decided to try eyelash extension.

Wonderfully Made Sulam Alis Jakarta has a great service, I can say. They welcome us with a beautiful place and very friendly, and they prepare various kinds of drinks. Herbal tea, green tea, milo, water, and coffee. You can choose what ever you want. Well this is simple, but it's important to me. They're one of Jakarta's cheap eyelash services but they treat their customers really well.

Then we go to the treatment. I remove the eye makeup, and take "before" shots. Right after that we start the eyelash extension process. Ci Vera is the one who do my eyelash extension. She's very kind and friendly. The process begins with putting some tapes on my eyes so that the glue won't stick to my skin. I choose the natural one, and Ci Vera use the 12mm length. After around two hours of treatment, then we finished! I was amazed by the result. My eyes look a lot bigger and of course beautiful! At the same time it looks super natural and lightweight, it didn't hurt my eyes and it feels like I'm wearing nothing.

[EVENT] : Ke Event Beauty, diwawancara TV Korea!

Kali ini aku mau sharing sesuatu, suatu pengalaman seru dan berharga hihi. Jadi beberapa waktu lalu aku sempet ngepost acara sama Laneige di salah satu mall di Jakarta. (udah sebut aja deh ya, Central Park Mall, Jakarta Barat). Acara ini adalah Laneige Beauty Week 2017, dan merupakan yang pertama diadakan di Indonesia! Kece banget ya, ga nyangka juga bisa diundang ke acara se istimewa ini.

Sebetulnya acara Laneige Beauty Week ini sudah sering diadakan di berbagai negara. Kalau di Indonesia, sebelumnya sudah diawali dengan Laneige K-Beauty Road yang sempat diselenggarakan di Mall Taman Anggrek. Acaranya bertempat di Hall mall CP, gede banget dan seru! Karena disini bukan cuma booth-booth kecil seperti saat di Taman Anggrek, tapi ada booth besar dan area bermain dan berfoto yang tentunya lucu, khas Korea. Panggungnya di set dengan berbagai alat musik soalnya ada tamu utama RAN sebagai pengisi acara puncak. Seluruh hall didandanin dengan warna biru khas Laneige.

Sama Ci Sunny, kami ngobrol-ngobrol terkait event ini dan makeup yang kita sukai, juga trend makeup yang ada di Indonesia. Memang arah makeup Indonesia dan Korea sedikit berbeda, tapi tetap aja banyak yang cinta makeup ala Korea dengan kulit cerah dan sehat, tanpa riasan berlebihan. Akupun suka makeup ini, karena membuat kita terlihat lebih muda dan segar.

[EVENT] : Workshop with Wonderfully Made

Hello gorgeous, apa kabarnya nih? Welcoming september welcoming lots of blessing ya! Tentunya balik lagi di blog aku, kali ini aku mau sharing acara yang aku ikutin tepat seminggu yang lalu, Agustus 26 2017.

Buat kalian yang belum familiar dengan wm sulamalis atau wonderfully made, Sulam alis dan extension bulu mata aman dan murah di Jakarta ini punya Dokter Lia Lau yang berlokasi di Ruko Permata Senayan Blok A no. 8, tepatnya dia satu ruko dengan RayWhite, tapi kliniknya ada di lantai 2. Klinik ini menyediakan banyak banget treatment yang lagi in banget, tentunya untuk mempertahankan penampilan kita para wanita biar tetep kece setiap saat.

Siapa sih yang ga pengen tampil cantik setiap saat? Alis on fleek, bibir merah merona, bulu mata panjang nan lentik, bahkan kulit wajah yang cerah berkilau. Pasti semuanya mau kan? (Termasuk aku sih, kalo bisa ga mandi aja udah cakep. Duh anaknya mageran mandi hahaha). Tapi yakin deh, semua perempuan pasti pengennya cantik terus, biar memanjakan mata yang memandang (terutama mata lelaki. Kamu, iya kamu yang ga peka-peka. #LAAAAAH). Kalo bisa nih, kejebur aja cantik gitu, aduh dasar cewe banyak maunya. Eh tapi kata siapa gabisa? Tentu bisa! Nih, di Wonderfully Made, ada eyelash extension, sulam alis, sulam eyeliner, sulam bedak juga ada loh, juga berbagai perawatan anti aging lainnya.

Kalo sekarang sih, apalagi di Jakarta, tempat kecantikan yang menyediakan jasa seperti ini (terutama eyelash extension ) jelas ada banyak. Tentunya karena disini bersertifikat bahkan dari luar negeri, bukan sekedar dari les sama orang yang tadinya ngeles sama orang lain juga. Lanjut ke tempatnya, pas aku dateng gampang sih nemuinnya. Soalnya ruko permata senayan emang udah jelas terbagi jadi blok-blok gitu. Tinggal cari blok A, terus cari no. 8 (ruko RayWhite) yang sebenernya deket sama pagar pinggir jalan. Langsung aja masuk dan naik ke lantai 2, kemudian kita akan disambut dengan desain interior yang memanjakan mata. Ruangan bernuansa cokelat muda - putih, bikin kesan elegan dan nyaman bagi para customer. Nggak cuma desain, bahkan pencahayaan tempat ini juga bagus (kece buat foto).

Acara dimulai siang hari (setelah jam makan siang) dimana beberapa blogger akhirnya berkumpul. Dibuka dengan sambutan dari ci Vera selaku asisten senior, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan Dokter Lia yang menjelaskan seluk beluknya klinik ini dari eyelash extension sampai berbagai treatment lainnya. Tapi pembahasannya lebih banyak terfokus pada sulam alis, yang memang menjadi fokus utama dari klinik ini. Kita juga dikasih tahu bahan - bahan apa saja yang diperlukan untuk melakukan tindakan perawatan seperti tinta, jarum, dan lain-lain. Tak lama membahas tentang peralatan, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan mencoba secara langsung apa yang sudah dijelaskan Dokter Lia.

Pertamanya kita dikasih coba untuk gambar alis di kulit sintetis. Gambarnya helai per helai dan harus sehalus dan senatural mungkin. Ini dilakukan supaya hasil sulam alisnya jadi lebih bagus, kelihatan natural seperti bulu alis asli. Teknik yang digunakan di Wonderfully Made Sulam Alis ini adalah 18D, dimana ini sangat didepan dari klinik lainnya. Umumnya klinik lain cuma pake yang 6D atau sejenisnya, ini udah 18D. Kebayang kan hasilnya sebagus apa?

Setelah berlatih menggambar di kulit sintetis, kita juga diajak berpraktek ke teman-teman blogger langsung. Jadi ada satu yang tidur di ruang tindakan, kemudian kita satu per satu mencoba proses menyulam alis di orang. Eits jangan sedih, itu yang tiduran sampe gemeter takut alisnya mencong. Ini simulasi, memang kita pegang alatnya yang beneran, tapi alatnya ngga dinyalain. Jadi kita cuma cobain aja gimana megang alatnya yang bener dan treatment ke orang yang bener.

Kalau temen-temen pengen coba treatment sulam alis di Jakarta atau extension bulu mata di Jakarta, bisa langsung bikin janji dengan kliniknya, dan pake nama aku supaya dapetin diskon 10% hihi (lumayan kan!) promonya berlaku sampe Desember 2017. Aku juga akan treatment disana, jadi ditunggu aja review nya ya!
